St Mildred, Poultry

St Mildred, Poultry was a parish church in the Cheap ward,〔The mediaeval meaning of the word is market “Oxford English Dictionary Vol 2” p634 Murray, J(Ed): OUP, Oxford,1893〕 of the City of London.〔“Churches of the City of London” Reynolds, H: Bodley Head, London, 1922〕 It was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London and demolished in 1872.
